Bowie County Sheriff release smartphone app

Bowie County Sheriff’s Office announced availability of a new smartphone app today that will allow two-way communications between them and the public.

According to Chief Deputy Jeff Neal the free app will assist in critical two-way communications between the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office and the residents of Bowie County.

“This will be the exclusive app for communications from the department with press releases, bulletins, alerts, an event calendar and more,” said Neal. “Your smartphone will now be your platform for submitting crime tips which may help solve crimes.

The app can be downloaded in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store by searching for Bowie County Sheriff.
