The Hope Police Department has obtained a felony warrant for the arrest of Corey Ray Turner on charges of Murder 1st degree and Arson.
The charges result from the investigation into a house fire that occurred on October 28, 2014 at a residence located at 221 North Prichard Street, in Hope, Arkansas. Upon extinguishing the fire, Hope Firemen located the body of Thomas Youngblood, 20, of Hope, inside the residence. It was determined that Youngblood was the victim of an apparent homicide.
The Hope Police Department is asking for the public’s help with locating Turner. Corey Turner has ties to Southwest and Central Arkansas. Turner was last seen on foot in Nevada County, Arkansas on the afternoon of October 28, 2014.
