Bowie County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for two suspects in multiple auto thefts in the Redwater area.
According to a local landowner he found two men stuck in a car on his land near Redwater Wednesday morning. The landowner said the men were stuck in the mud and attempting to winch the vehicle out with a come-a-long. The two men ran when they saw the owner.
According to law enforcement the man are wanted in connection with multiple stolen vehicles in the area.
Bowie County Sheriff’s Office helicopter and Telford Prison K9 tracking unit are on scene helping with the search.
Redwater ISD Schools were on lockdown but that has been canceled as of 2:30 p.m.
