On August 17, 2017, the Wake Village Police Department, assisted by other area agencies, executed a search warrant at 624 Arizona Avenue in Wake Village. This property was transported to the Wake Village Police Department where officers spent the next several days going through the property in an attempt to determine ownership.
This investigation had begun approximately one. month prior to the execution of the search warrant and had been comprised of many elements. All officers of the police department had volunteered to work, uncompensated, on their days off and after regular shifts, to attempt to stop the vehicle and residential burglaries. The department had used various methods such as static and rolling surveillance; bait cars with surveillance equipment; informants and other investigative procedures to obtain enough evidence for the issuance of the warrant.
As of this date, La Davion White has been charged with one count of Burglary of a Habitation; 6 counts of Burglary of Vehicle; 1 count of Resisting Search and one count of Criminal Mischief over $100.

In addition to the stolen property seized, officers also located personal papers and effects belonging to a wanted fugitive from the State of Louisiana. This fugitive is wanted for 2 counts of Attempted Murder out of Bastrop, Louisiana. Wake Village investigators have been in contact with Bastrop authorities in connection to this investigation.
Both investigations are ongoing and is it possible that other charges may be filed at a later date.
