Texas High School Choir students bring home eleven medals

Texarkana, TX – Texas High School Choir students participated in the Region IV University Interscholastic League Vocal Solo & Ensemble Competition on February 5 at Texas A&M University – Commerce.

First Division Gold Medal Soloists in Singing Class I was: Kaleigh Cook and Brennon Cope. These students will now advance to the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest which will be held in Austin in May.

Andrea Munoz earned a Gold Medal Superior Rating on Class II Solo. Kiara Brown, Perin Creek, Emily Dowden, Savanna Martin, Cherish Starks and Katie Thompson earned a Silver Medal Excellent Rating for their performances. Caleb Dell and MacKenzie Tellez each earned a Bronze Medal Good Rating for their performance.
