Rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches is forecast for the Texarkana area from Wednesday into Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, heavy rain, flash flooding, damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes are possible.
The first round of storms should arrive in the Texarkana area from mid to late morning. The second round will reach the area late afternoon and continue through the evening.
A flash flood watch will be in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday morning through 7 p.m. Thursday.
