Matthew Martin and Anna Ward, members of the Texas High School Freshmen UIL Cross-Examination Debate Team, earned a top six placement during the recent UIL District Meet on January 31 in Mt. Pleasant, TX.
The young team went 3-0 in the preliminaries to advance to the quarterfinals and then earn their sixth place score. They are coached by Amy Kemp.
