TexAmericas Center Adds Over 100 Jobs in Past Year, Report Shows

TexAmericas Center has released its 2026 annual report, showing significant economic growth across the Texarkana region with employment increasing 136% over the past five years.

The industrial park now hosts 1,536 jobs across 44 active companies, up from 650 employees five years ago. Companies operating at the facility reported a combined payroll of $95.2 million in 2025, representing a 5% year-over-year increase.

The report highlights substantial growth in third-party logistics operations, with a 67% increase in 3PL tenants. Currently, 1.4 million square feet of industrial and commercial space is being utilized at the facility.

“Over the past five years, employment at TexAmericas Center has grown from 650 to 1,536 jobs, representing a 136 percent increase,” said Scott Norton, Executive Director and CEO of TexAmericas Center, in the report.

TexAmericas Center has been recognized as a top five national industrial park in 2025. The facility spans 12,000 acres with 3.5 million square feet of commercial and industrial space and 761 acres of certified development sites.

Recent major tenants include EnergyX, which invested more than $20 million in a lithium processing test project, and Lockheed Martin. The facility offers rail service through three rail lines and is located near three interstate highways.
