UAHT Closes Monday Due to Inclement Weather

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will be closed Monday, January 26, due to inclement weather conditions.

All classes on both the Hope and Texarkana campuses are canceled. Students are advised to check Blackboard for course information.

UAHT administration said they will continue monitoring weather and road conditions before deciding whether to resume classes on Tuesday, January 27.

The university is directing students, faculty, and staff to check the college website, Facebook page, and student emails for updates on the status of Tuesday classes.

The closure was announced by Casey Curtis, Communications Coordinator for UAHT, who cited safety concerns for students, faculty, and staff as the reason for the decision.
