Boil Water Notice Issued for Bill Rogers Drive Area in Texarkana

Texarkana Water Utilities has issued a boil water notice for customers in the Bill Rogers Drive area of Texarkana, effective Monday, September 21, 2026.

Due to low water pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Texarkana, Texas public water system (ID 0190004) to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption, including washing hands or face, brushing teeth, drinking, and other uses. Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions.

Affected locations: Bill Rogers Dr, Northridge Cir, Dreyer Pl, Cindywood St, Cindywood Cir, and Ladera St.

Boil instructions: Water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and boiled for two minutes, then cooled prior to use. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking or human consumption purposes.

Texarkana Water Utilities officials will notify customers when the water is safe for drinking and human consumption purposes and the boil water notice is lifted.
