Boil Water Notice Rescinded for Bill Rogers Dr, Northridge and Nearby Streets in Texarkana (Oct. 2, 2026)

Texarkana Water Utilities has rescinded the boil water notice for the Bill Rogers Dr and Northridge area after corrective actions and lab tests showed the water no longer requires boiling.

Texarkana Water Utilities has rescinded the boil water notice that was issued Sept. 29 for customers in the Bill Rogers Drive and Northridge area of Texarkana.

The affected locations included Bill Rogers Dr, Northridge Cir, Dreyer Pl, Cindywood St, Cindywood Cir and Ladera St.

On Sept. 29, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the city of Texarkana, Texas public water system, ID 0190004, to issue a boil water notice because of conditions that occurred in the public water system. The water was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore water quality and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results indicating the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of Oct. 2, 2026.
