TAFD Responds to Fire at Golden Lady Restaurant

5:30 p.m. Sunday | Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Department responded to reports of flames coming from the Golden Lady Restaurant in the 1700 block of E 9th Street.

Fire fighters ran a hose across 9th street closing it for over an hour this evening.

When TXK Today arrived on scene smoke could be seen coming from the building although no flames were visible.

The restaurant was not open at the time of the fire. The cause and extent of damage is unknown at this time.
