Texarkana will soon welcome a performance filled with joy, culture, and inspiration as the African Children’s Choir takes the stage on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Mt Orange Baptist Church, located at 2510 W 10th St, Texarkana, TX.

For more than forty years, the African Children’s Choir has transformed lives across the continent through the power of music, education, and hope. Their concerts are known for blending traditional hymns with vibrant African rhythms, creating an unforgettable worship experience that celebrates God’s faithfulness and the resilience of the human spirit.

Comprised of children ages 8 to 10 from vulnerable backgrounds across Africa, the Choir represents the future leaders of their communities. Many of these children have faced significant hardship, including limited access to education. Through the Choir, they receive life‑changing opportunities for schooling, mentorship, and personal growth. Their performances serve not only as a testament to their talent, but also to the strength and potential within each child.
