Children at Opportunities, Inc. participated in the annual Easter Egg Party today, April 13th. Over one-hundred and seventy-five children were present to hunt eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, and indulge in sweets.
For the last twenty years, Opportunities, Inc. has partnered with Abernathy Company to provide lasting Easter holiday memories for children and families that are enrolled in their programs. Each year, foundation board ladies host the event where they hide eggs, hand out cupcakes, and pass out stuffed bunnies.
Director of Development, Lisa Kern, said, “We appreciate Abernathy Co. and the foundation board for coming and providing smiling faces.” She continued, “ The children’s faces really light up.”
Employees from Opportunities, Inc. and Abernathy Co. work with the foundation board to make this event possible each year.
