There are no road closures in the Texarkana area due to the weather conditions at this time.
There has been a vehicle crash on the US 59 overpass at FM 3129 in Domino which had it closed until the wreckage is cleared. Traffic is being detoured onto the frontage road at that location.
TxDOT would like to remind motorists to always slow down and drive for weather conditions.
Drivers should leave 3-4 second intervals between them and the vehicle ahead, especially in construction zones. Also, in flash flood conditions, never drive through water flowing over a roadway.
You never know for sure how deep it is and as little as six inches of water can wash a vehicle off the roadway. #TurnAroundDontDrown
