21-year-old Texarkana man killed in early morning wreck

A 21-year-old Texarkana man was killed in a crash on Highway 278 in Hempstead County early Monday morning.

According to the Arkansas State Police, Jaylen C. Willis, 21, of Texarkana, AR was traveling west on Highway 278 at 5:24 a.m. when he lost control in a curve and crossed the center line and struck a eastbound vehicle. After being struck the other vehicle then crossed into westbound lanes and struck a third vehicle.

Two people from Hope and another from Washington, Ark. were injured in the the other vehicles.

Willis was pronounced dead on scene by corner David Peters.
