According to Texarkana, Ark. School District a student is in custody after allegedly making a threat on social media.
Late Tuesday afternoon, an Arkansas High School student reported a threat made by another student on social media. The campus administrators and school resource officer immediately located the student and placed him in custody; no weapon was found in the student’s possession.
According to TASD Director of Public Relations Genia Bullock, “the Texarkana Arkansas School District is working with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department to investigate the incident and will continue to work diligently to ensure the safety of our students and staff.”
