George Edward Monckton, age 44, of Texarkana, Texas has been arrested and charged with felony arson in the fire that occurred at 722 Pine Street on Friday, August 1, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Monckton was arrested on scene for illegal burning and charged with felony arson on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014.
