Hit and Run Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition


TEXARKANA, TEXAS – The Texarkana Texas Police Department is investigating an apparent hit and run crash that occurred about 10:30 last night in the 1100 block of Summerhill Road. Albert Creamer, 40, of Texarkana Arkansas, is listed in critical condition at a local hospital.

After officers were dispatched to the report of a man laying in the roadway on Summerhill Road, they found Creamer there with serious head injuries. Officers believe that he was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop. Creamer was transported to Christus St. Michael Hospital for treatment.

The driver has not yet been identified. However, evidence found at the scene indicates the vehicle may be an older model Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis.
