Homicide Victim’s Husband Arrested for Deadly Conduct

TEXARKANA, TEXAS – The Texarkana Texas Police Department has arrested Travon Walker, 27, of Texarkana Texas, for Deadly Conduct. He is the husband of Kaitlin Lee, who was found shortly after a large disturbance laying in a nearby alley suffering from a gunshot wound. Lee later died at Christus St. Michael Hospital.

The investigation revealed that Walker was involved in the disturbance in the 200 block of Apache Trail last night, in which several shots were fired. According to witnesses, Walker pointed a pistol at another person there and fired at least one shot at them. It is not known at this point if Walker fired the shot that ultimately killed Lee. He has not been charged with anything related to his wife’s homicide.

Walker was arrested without incident at the police department and is being held in the Bi-State Jail.
