MetroPCS Store Robbed at Gunpoint after Suspect Tires of Waiting

Texarkana, Ark. Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery at the MetroPCS store in the 800 block of East St. Monday evening.

According to police radio traffic, the suspect was upset because it took too long to switch service over, so he then took all the money from the register at gunpoint.

The robbery happened around 5:45 p.m. Monday.

Police are in the area searching for a suspect.

Suspect description is a black male, 220 lbs., 5’9″, goatee, white t-shirt, black shorts, black due-rag.
