This weekend, hundreds of runners from across the country will come to Texarkana for the unique opportunity to run in one half marathon in two states. The 12th Annual Run the Line Half Marathon will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
This 13.1-mile race starts at Broad and Main Streets in downtown Texarkana, TX and finishes in Texarkana, AR in front of Hopkins Ice House at 3rd and Wood Streets. The course includes two park asphalt trails and residential neighborhoods on city streets.
Awards will be presented at Hopkins Ice House on the stage at 10:30 a.m. The top three female and male Overall Finishers receive $100 gift certificates.
Those who pre-registered are invited to a packet pickup at Racquet & Jog, 3435 Richmond Road, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15 and Saturday, February 16. For those who aren’t already registered, online registration will be available at packet pickup. Race day registration is available online from 6:15 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Runners may register individually or as part of a 2-person or 4-person relay team.
Those who wish to be involved, but not run, are invited to volunteer and assist with registration and at refreshment stations. Prospective volunteers should contact info@txkruntheline.org.
