21st Annual Bramlett Beans & Cornbread

The 21st Annual Bramlett Beans & Cornbread luncheon will be held on Thursday, December 5th, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at the Southwest Community Center, located at 3222 W. 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Christmas Basket program, a volunteer effort that provides holiday food for Texarkana, USA, citizens who are in need. The initiative, led by the Cities of Texarkana, Texas, and Texarkana, Arkansas, along with the Texarkana Water Utilities, who together help provide over 100 baskets to local families.

Lunch is $5 per person or six non-perishable food items and includes beans and cornbread, sponsored by Big Jake’s BBQ and Texarkana Independent School District. Coffee and tea are sponsored by Starbucks and desserts will be also be offered.

A silent auction will be held with the proceeds being donated to the Empty Bowl Project, program held by Texas High School students, and the Christmas Baskets project, organized by the City of Texarkana, Texas.
