Earlier this morning a utility worker was electrocuted while working on a utility line that crosses I-30.

First responder called for LifeNet helicopter and were preparing to shut down eastbound traffic so it could land on interstate but it was canceled and the patient was transported by ambulance.

The bucket truck that the worker was in made contact with a 12,000 volt transmission line.   Authorities said the man, 33-year-old Paul Siler of New Boston Texas, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Siler was in a Vyve Broadband bucket truck.
