Aggravated Robbery Suspect Arrested Thanks To Anonymous CrimeStoppers Tip

Thanks to a tip received through crime stoppers Garrick Reece was recently arrested for aggravated robbery.

On December 19, 2014 at approximately 11:30pm, officers were dispatched to a Robbery in progress call at a convenient store in the 2000 block of South Lake Drive.

According to Texarkana, Texas Police Sergeant Aaron Brower, “when officers arrived they were advised by the clerk that the suspect, who was wearing a mask, approached him while he was outside of the store. The suspect told the clerk that he was there to rob him. He stabbed the clerk in the back with what the clerk believed to be a pocket knife. The suspect then ordered the clerk inside the store, and made him give him an undisclosed amount of cash and some cigarettes. The suspect fled the scene on foot.”

According to the Texarkana, Texas Police Department Facebook page Reece was arrested after they received an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers.
