December 3, 2014 | The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana is pleased to announce a new endowed scholarship by local business AmeriTies South LLC. The $12,000 gift to the UACCH Foundation will establish a scholarship for a Hempstead County student with a 3.0 GPA who has unmet financial aid needs.
John Getz, AmeriTies South Plant Manager, presented the check to U of A Hope-Texarkana Chancellor Chris Thomason. The scholarship will be available for students starting this spring. An application for this and many other UACCH Foundation scholarships can be printed from the college website under the Financial Aid tab.
