Area law enforcement officers were treated to a free hot lunch at Twin City Collision on Wednesday as a show of support from staff and residents of Texarkana.

Greeted by employees of both Twin City Collision and Big Jakes BBQ, law enforcement officials enjoyed delicious hamburgers, cold beverages, and desserts in the shape of badges – all in an effort from Twin City Collision to show their appreciation to local law enforcement for their tireless efforts to help the community and keep residents safe.

The staff at Twin City Collision planned Wednesday’s lunch for several weeks, offering the chance for officers to enjoy a meal or grab lunch to go from an area set up by Big Jakes BBQ next to the front entrance. Police, fire fighters, and were treated to a lunch and an afternoon of appreciation.

“It’s been fun and it’s been nice to see the smiles on their faces. We know their jobs are not easy, especially nowadays and we just want to show them support and thank them for everything they do. It’s been a great turn out,” said Amie Allen, Twin City Collision Accounting Manager.
