On Saturday, May 11th, Brother’s Keeper Motorcycle Club 8th presented a check to Watersprings Ranch for $7000 in proceeds from their Ark-La-Tex Burn Run held in late March 2019.
“The joy we experienced being able to help these children and just spend time visiting with them, talking about activities they enjoy, school, answering their questions about our patches and pins (along with giggles at our riding names)…was simply heartfelt and humbling,” said member, Hilary Bayless. “We were met with ‘Hi’s’ and handshakes but left with hugs! As much as we are proud to serve Watersprings in any way we can, we feel like they have chosen us to talk to, connect with and be a part of their lives. We feel honored.”
They previously presented their International President with a check for their sister charity, Camp I’m Still Me, for $7,000 which were also proceeds from the event. The Camp I’m Still Me presentation will be at the Camp in Scottsville, TX, on June 4th where chapters from all over will ride down with a combined check for the camp.
