Bledsoe becomes CEO/President of the United Way of Greater Texarkana

United Way of Greater Texarkana Board of Directors announces new staff as former Chief Professional Officer Mary Wormington takes a new position with United Way of Northwest Ark.

The Board named Mark Bledsoe CEO/President and Emily Green Vice President of Planning and Development. They join Amy Schulz, financial officer at the downtown office.

Bledsoe makes his move from the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce as Vice President of Chamber Operations. A Texarkana native, Bledsoe is passionate about non-profits and is enthusiastic to make a start August 4th.
Emily Green is an experienced United Way professional from United Way of Denton County.

UWGT Board Chair Pam White said, “Emily will greatly enhance the United Way office and its mission for growth in Community Impact, UW initiatives and grant writing.”

Chairman White said, “Mary is on speed dial and her new employer has offered to work out a schedule for Mary to serve as the UWGT consultant.”
