Boil Water Notice Issued for Bill Rogers Dr and Northridge Area in Texarkana

Texarkana Water Utilities has issued a boil water notice for customers in the Bill Rogers Dr, Northridge Cir, Dreyer Pl, Cindywood St, Cindywood Cir, and Ladera St area.

Due to low water pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Texarkana, Texas public water system (ID 0190004) to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption, including washing hands/face, brushing teeth, and drinking. Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria.

Water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and boiled for two minutes before use. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source.

TEXARKANA WATER UTILITIES will notify customers when the boil water notice is no longer in effect.
