Boil Water Notice Rescinded for Shadow Brooke Street in Texarkana

Texarkana Water Utilities has rescinded a boil water notice for customers in the 6901-7312 block of Shadow Brooke Street.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required Texarkana Water Utilities on Oct. 14 to issue a boil water notice for that area due to conditions in the public water system. The notice has now been lifted as of Oct. 15 after the utility completed corrective actions and provided TCEQ with laboratory test results showing the water no longer requires boiling prior to use.
