The City of Texarkana, Texas held a grand opening ribbon cutting at Bringle Lake Park East today.
The project was a $3 million project headed by Robby Robertson Parks Director for the City of Texarkana, Texas.
The existing park has been renamed Bringle Park West with the new part named Bringle Park East.
There is an almost mile long boardwalk connecting the two parks. The park contains boating docks, 10+ pavilions, two playground areas, exercise stations and volleyball courts. Kayla Wood from MTG Engineers & Surveyors said they had designed the park with all ages in mind.
