Cass County deputy kills man while serving warrant

BLOOMBURG, Texas – A Cass County Sheriff’s Deputy shot and killed a 33-year-old man earlier today while attempting to serve a felony warrant in this small town of 400 people.

The deputy has been placed on administrative leave.

Bloomburg sits alongside Queen City, Texas, and Doddridge, Arkansas.

The Texas Rangers have been called in to take over the investigation. TXK Today will update this story as more details become available.
