Texarkana, Texas City Council approved site plans for two new restaurants at Tuesday night’s council meeting.
The two new restaurants are Tacos 4 Life and Newk’s Eatery. They will be located inside South Cowhorn Creek Loop at Mall Drive and Cowhorn Creek.
Newk’s is a chain of fast casual cafés which operates over 100 restaurants in 13 states. It was founded in 2004 by the same team that founded McAlister’s Deli.
Tacos 4 Life, a fast-casual taco concept, will donate the funds necessary to Feed My Starving Children to purchase one meal for every meal sold in the restaurant.
No word on when construction is expected to begin.
