Multiple people have contacted TXK Today asking if we have information on a worker injured at Cooper Tire this morning.
TXK Today contacted Cooper Tire corporate media relations and they responded with the following statement.
Safety is a top priority for Cooper Tire and we take the health and welfare of our employees very seriously. We can confirm that an employee of our Texarkana plant sustained injuries while on the job today and we are doing all we can to assure that the employee receives proper medical care and that his needs are being met. Our thoughts are with the employee and his family. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
The current condition of the worker is unknown at this time.
