Two men have been found dead in Texarkana, Arkansas this afternoon. Police are investigating the incident as a possible murder-suicide.

Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to a call at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning to the 1000 block of Cleveland Street disturbance call concerning an eviction, according to Texarkana, Ark. Police Public Information Officer Kristi Bennett.

According to authorities, Aaron Kid, 31, was living in the residence and an unknown relative wanted him evicted.

According to TAPD, when the family was traveling to Miller County Sheriff’s office to collect eviction orders, another family member went inside the residence where he shot and killed Aaron Kidd. After which the individual went out to the front porch, turned the gun and shot himself.

Authorities received a second call at about 1:30 p.m. after neighbors spotted someone dead in the front yard.

When police arrived on scene they found Darryl Kidd, late 30’s, dead in the front yard with a suspected self-inflicted shot wound. Aaron Kidd, 31, was found dead inside the home.

Arkansas Department of Corrections records show Aaron Kidd was convicted of 1 count of rape and was a registered sex offender.

Detectives are still on scene undergoing investigation.
