12:30 A.M. Friday | Texarkana Police, Fire, and EMS responded to N. Cowhorn Creek Loop and St Michael Drive around midnight to reports of a car in the ditch.

The pickup was going west on St Michael Dr when it appears the driver attempted to turn onto Cowhorn Creek loop and departed the roadway into a a deep drainage ditch narrowly missing a gas main. LifeNet checked out the driver on scene and did not transport him or the passenger.
Police were seen giving the driver a field sobriety test and placing him under arrest shortly thereafter.
