Early Morning Head On Collision Closes Highway 82

6:00 A.M. Monday | A head on collision on U.S. 82 near Leary had U.S. Highway 82 closed for almost an hour early Monday morning.

First responders from Nash, C5, Bowie County Sheriff, & LifeNet responded to the scene of a two vehicle head on collision.

Both drivers were taken to local a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. Radio traffic now indicates that a passenger of one vehicle may have walked into the woods from the accident scene. BCSO is currently looking for him with concerns that he may be injured.
