The ARK-LA-TEX Outdoor Expo will be the next exciting event to come to Hempstead Hall on the University of Arkansas’s Hope, Ark., campus. Scheduled for February 3-4, the Expo will feature over 20 vendors and educational exhibits. Participating vendors will have boats, all-terrain vehicles, duck and turkey calls, cabin lamps, leather goods, fishing lures, knives, lawn mowers, and even jewelry for those who enjoy the great outdoors.

“This will be our first Expo and we are pleased to have twenty vendors already scheduled at this time with a great variety of merchandise,” said Dolly Henley, director of Hempstead Hall. “I feel that this Expo is a good fit for our area because we have so many people in the ARK-LA- TEX who enjoy the outdoors. Hempstead Hall will be the place to be in early February if you are looking for a new boat, lawn mower, or atv, or if you just need to upgrade your hunting, fishing or camping supplies.”

In addition to the Outdoor Expo, country music star Craig Morgan will headline a concert at Hempstead Hall on Friday, February 3. A multi-faceted entertainer, CRAIG MORGAN has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV host, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran. One of country music’s best-loved artists, Morgan thrills massive crowds with signature hits, including “Bonfire,” Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” “This Ole Boy,” Wake Up Loving You” and the six week #1, “That’s What I Love About Sunday.” Morgan’s new album, A Whole Lot More To Me, featuring singles “I’ll Be Home Soon” and “When I’m Gone,” was released this summer. Craig received one of country music’s highest honors when he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2008. In addition to a prolific country music career, he hosts the award-winning TV show “Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors,” now in its seventh season on Outdoor Channel.

Prior to becoming a country music star and TV sensation, Morgan spent seventeen years serving our country in the Army and Army Reserves. He is an avid supporter of America’s military personnel and a recipient of the 2006 USO Merit Award.

Tickets for both the Expo and the Craig Morgan concert are on sale now. Tickets range $20-$65 and are available at hempsteadhall.com. For more information on either event, call Dolly Henley at 870-772-8565.
