Freer is First Nevada County U Can @ Hope Scholarship Recipient


HOPE, AR – The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope recently announced the expansion of the U Can@ Hope Scholarship into Nevada County and Angela Freer was the first of several to take advantage of the scholarship for a free class this semester at UACCH. Freer is pursuing an Associates of Arts in Medical Office Management. With the U Can @ Hope Scholarship, Freer will take 3 of her 12 enrolled credit hours for free.
UACCH is offering the U Can @ Hope scholarship to Hempstead and Nevada County residents who have been out of school for two or more years. Qualifying students will receive 3 credit hours free for the Fall Semester. This is an opportunity to get started back to college to complete a degree or just to further one’s knowledge of a subject. UACCH will continue to register students through August 27, but classes begin Monday, August 25th.
