Eighteen Wheeler Rear Ends Beetle 59 & 2516

10:15 P.M. Sunday | Liberty Eylau Volunteer Fire Department and Texas DPS Troopers were on scene of a major accident at U.S. Highway 59 and FM 2516. A Volkswagen Beetle turning northbound on 59 from 2516 pulled out in front of an eighteen wheeler traveling north on 59.
The driver of the Beetle was taken by LifeNet to a local area hospital with what appeared to be non life threatening injuries.
