Damaging winds, large hail, isolated tornadoes, and locally heavy rainfall will be possible this afternoon and evening across the ArkLaTex. The storms are expected in the Texarkana area after 1 p.m.
An Enhanced Threat for severe thunderstorms will increase this afternoon across much of the region, but should gradually diminish from west to east this evening. While the threat may wane this evening, additional scattered showers and thunderstorms should develop late tonight, and could pose a severe weather threat prior to daybreak Sunday.
Another round of severe weather is possible Sunday.
