10:00 P.M. Tuesday | A 911 call came in that a house on Buchanan Rd. was on fire and that there was some one trapped inside it, a citizen was trying to break down the door. Liberty Eylau Volunteer Fire department members were on scene within 8 minutes and reported that the house was fully involved and there was a person trapped inside.
An elderly man did make it out of the house and looked over by LifeNet but refused medical treatment. An elderly women was trapped inside and died in the fire. About an hour after leaving LifeNet was sent back to the scene by request of fire fighters for the man and he was transported to the hospital.
