UPDATE: McDonald’s will be reopening at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
4:45 a.m. Wednesday | Texarkana, Texas Fire Department responded to a fryer fire at McDonalds on Summer Crossing.
When fire trucks arrived on scene heavy white smoke could be seen coming from the top of the building but no flames were visible.
The location is closed Wednesday morning but damage appeared to be minimal so it shouldn’t remain closed for long.
TTFD vented smoke from the restaurant but did not deploy any hoses.
