Fire Evacuates Super 8 Hotel

Super 8 Hotel at 325 E 51st St was evacuated this afternoon due to fire. According to radio traffic smoke filled parts of the building. All the guests were evacuated and Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Department searched all rooms.

Radio traffic indicated it was caused by an elevator motor fire. There were no injuries.
