Galleria Oaks Drive is now open for traffic all the way through Richmond Road.
The speed limit on the section between Cowhorn Creek and Richmond Road is 30 miles per hour. Police are working that section and stopped 4 cars in the 15 minutes I observed.
According to officers Aaron Wafford and Brent Hobbs working traffic on foot at Galleria Oaks and Richwood Drive, complaints have been received about drivers speeding on the new section.
Landscaping and other work continues but the roadway is fully open.
According to Texarkana, Texas public information officer, Lisa Thompson, “right now there are no plans for traffic lights. If traffic warrants them in the future, we will adjust.”
