Gas has dropped below $2 a gallon at a few local gas stations for the first time since 2008. This comes as a big relief as people travel to be with family for Christmas.
Sams Club and Super 1 Food both have gas for $1.92 a gallon as of 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
According to the AAA daily fuel gauge report the average price in Texas is $2.12 and Arkansas is $2.227. Local Arkansas stations are priced around $2.11 a gallon.
