Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas is soliciting old American flag donations for an upcoming flag retirement ceremony.
Community members may drop off old flags now through March 12 at the council’s southwest regional office located at 1811 Arkansas Blvd., or the Discovery Place Museum located at 219 Pine St. in Texarkana, TX.
Local Girl Scouts will properly retire all donated flags at a flag retirement ceremony on March 12. This event will be closed to the public.
