GrGreen Texarkana, the monthly recycling event hosted by the City of Texarkana, Ark., will be Saturday.
Green Texarkana takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday at East Third and Hazel streets.
This program is free and provides recycling for paper, cardboard, plastics and metal cans. Recycling is also available for TVs, computers, printers, cell phones and other electronics.
For safety and efficiency participants are asked to stay in their vehicles at the drop site.
This program is not for hazardous materials like glass, Styrofoam, tires, fluorescent lights or paint, and is not a disposal for commercial waste. For more information call 870-779-4946.
