Hooters Evacuated TTFD Responds

Around 6:45 P.M. Friday evening Texarkana, Tex. Fire Department responded to Hooter 5101 N Stateline Ave, to reports of “smoke coming from the walls a possible electrical fire.” The restaurant evacuated and let guest back to their meals after about 15 minutes.

Kelly Propst, a spokesperson for Hooters has sent TXKtoday an email statement on the incident.

The Hooters of Texarkana was evacuated by the local fire department for 15 minutes on the evening of Friday, April 25 due to precautionary measures after a small fire outside of the building was caused by a cigarette butt.
